Strengthening Families is a 21-hour training that focuses on engaging families and communities in building the five key Protective Factors of the Strengthening Families framework. The lessons provide valuable insight into parental resilience, knowledge of parenting, offering support in times of need, children’s social and emotional competence, and helping families build positive social connections.

Katie Robertson, SCSC CTE Coordinator is completing a week with the National Army Educator Tour at Fort Stewart in Savannah, Georgia. She represented Arkansas in the fifth recruiting brigade and had the opportunity to learn about new technology, the 150 plus job skill sets the Army provides, career readiness, participated in field trauma exercises, and met the Commanding General.
